TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI

INCLUDING BAYS...INLETS...AND INLAND WATERWAYS
 
AT 715 PM CST THE JACKSON COUNTY MISSISSIPPI SHERIFFS OFFICE RECEIVED A
PUBLIC REPORT OF A TORNADO TOUCHING DOWN IN THE MOSS POINT MISSISSIPPI
VICINITY. MOBILE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM JUST WEST
OF MOSS POINT EXTENDING SOUTH INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO FOR 20 MILES. THIS
REPORTED TORNADO MAY HAVE BEEN A WATERSPOUT THAT CAME ASHORE.
OTHER WATERSPOUTS MAY FORM AND COME ASHORE IN THE AREA FROM OCEAN
SPRINGS TO PASCAGOULA.
