SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING

FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
 
   ...BALDWIN COUNTY...SOUTHERN MOBILE COUNTY
AT 730 AM MOBILE RADAR SHOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM JUST SOUTHEAST
OF THE MOBILE REGIONAL AIRPORT TO THE MOBILE BALDWIN COUNTY LINE
NORTHEAST OF MOBILE. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
 
A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR MOBILE BAY UNTIL 9 AM.
 
A POSSIBLE TORNADO UNROOFED A TRAILER HOUSE AT GRADDFARM AND OLD
PASCAGOULA ROAD IN SOUTHERN MOBILE COUNTY AROUND 655 AM. ABOUT THE SAME
TIME SOME WIND DAMAGE WAS DONE TO BLACKWELL NURSERY NEAR SPICE POND AND
LOTT ROAD IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS ST\ORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
