THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
 
   ...WESTERN LINCOLN COUNTY...EASTERN TAYLOR COUNTY
 
AT 250 PM...A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND SEVEN MILES
EAST OF MEDFORD. THE STORM PRODUCING THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.
 
SOME BUILDING DAMAGE HAS OCCURED WITH THIS STORM.  THE STORM WILL
APPROACH CLOSE TO THE TOWN OF GOODRICH...25 MILES NORTHWEST OF WAUSAU.
 
DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY
TOSSED AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF
A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.  IF NO
STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
