A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED BY RADAR ABOUT 10 MILES
NORTH OF HEMET IN THE GILMAN HOT SPRINGS AREA OF RIVERSIDE
COUNTY. A SPOTTER THERE REPORTED HEAVY RAIN AT 405 PM PDT.
 
THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 10 MPH...TOWARDS
IDLYWILD IN THE SAN JACINTO MOUNTAINS.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
