000 TTAA00 KLCH 051302 TORLCH LAC113-051400- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAKE CHARLES LA 658 AM CST THU MAR 5 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAKE CHARLES HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA ...VERMILION PARISH AT 655 AM THE LAKE CHARLES RADAR SHOWED A POSSIBLE TORNADO DEVELOPING OVER SOUTHWESTERN VERMILION PARISH NEAR WHITE LAKE. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
