THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      SOUTHERN PLATTE

AT 450 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 25
MILES WEST OF COLUMBUS IN EASTERN NANCE COUNTY.

THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
EXTREME SOUTHERN PARTS OF PLATTE COUNTY THROUGH 6PM CDT.

THE STORM IS LIKELY TO CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS.

PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND
VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
