000 TTAA00 KMEI 100611 TORMEI MSC061-100645- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MERIDIAN MS 1210 AM CST TUE MAR 10 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MERIDIAN HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...JASPER COUNTY AT 1209 AM CST RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF BAY SPRINGS MISSISSIPPI MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
