FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS ALREADY OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.
 
VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS IN
INDIANAPOLIS AS WELL AS DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
 
FLOODING OF STREAMS AND CREEKS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY CAN BE EXPECTED.
FLOODING OF UNDERPASSES...LOW SPOTS ON ROADS AND INTERSECTIONS AS WELL
AS BASEMENT FLOODING IN SOME HOMES WILL ALSO OCCUR.
 
BETWEEN 1020 PM AND 1120 PM...ALMOST ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OF RAIN
FELL /1.48/ AT THE INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...WITH HEAVY
RAIN CONTINUING AT THE AIRPORT.
 
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO DRIVE WITH THE UTMOST OF CARE IN CASE HIGH WATER
IS ENCOUNTERED ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS. DO NOT CROSS FLOODED AREAS BY ANY
MEANS.
