THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      CHAMPAIGN

AT 2 48 PM...A TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND NEAR LAKE OF THE
WOODS 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF CHAMPAIGN.

THE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM ARE CHAMPAIGN...URBANA.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.  IF NO BASEMENT
