THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DAYTON HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...MONTGOMERY COUNTY
 
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS LIKELY ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF
MONTGOMERY COUNTY OHIO THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING.
 
AT 505 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A THUNDERSTORM WITH
VERY HEAVY RAIN IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY. THE
THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
 
ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED BY STORM SPOTTERS IN THE
SOUTHWEST PART OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
