000 TTAA00 KFSD 170003 TORFSD SDC023-170045- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD 702 PM CDT TUE JUN 16 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA ...CHARLES-MIX COUNTY A TORNADO HAS BEEN REPORTED JUST SOUTHWEST OF PICKSTOWN OR 50 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MITCHELL. IT WAS MOVING NORTH AT 30 MPH. THE TORNADO WILL MOVE INTO THE LAKE ANDES AREA BEFORE 730 PM. BOATERS ON THE MISSOURI RIVER SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR. THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE ADJACENT WATERS OF THE MISSOURI RIVER. DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.
