000 TTAA00 KDDC 190027 TORDDC KSC025-190115- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 727 PM CDT THU JUN 18 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS ...SOUTHERN CLARK COUNTY AT 725 PM CDT...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 56 MILES SOUTH OF DODGE CITY KANSAS OR 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ENGLEWOOD KANSAS. THE THUNDERSTORM THAT WAS PRODUCING THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH-NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THE TORNADO SHOULD REACH THE ENGLEWOOD AREA BY AROUND 735 PM AND SHOULD ASHLAND BY AROUND 745 PM CDT. IF YOU LIVE IN ENGLEWOOD OR ASHLAND KANSAS YOU SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IN A REINFORCED BUILDING OR BASEMENT. TAKE COVER NOW! MB IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A STAIRWELL OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITUREH.
