FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO

   ...ERIE COUNTY...HURON COUNTY

SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOODING IS LIKELY THROUGH 200 AM EDT OVER
THE WARNED COUNTIES. SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL AFFECT ERIE AND HURON COUNTY THROUGH 200 AM. STREET AND
BASEMENT FLOODING IS LIKELY...AND SOME ROADS MAY BE CLOSED BY
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY REACH 3 TO 4 INCHES IN ERIE AND HURON
COUNTIES BY 200 AM. HERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF NEARLY 2 INCHES UP TO

ALL OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING NORTHEAST
AT ABOUT 20 MPH. AT 1015 PM EDT THEY COVERED THE AREA B0UNDED
BY THE CITIES OF TOLEDO...FINDLAY...AND HURON WHICH IS EAST
OF SANDUSKY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

MOST FLOOD DFEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.
