THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR ERIE AND
WYOMING COUNTIES.  OVER A HALF INCH RAIN FELL IN LESS THAN A HALF HOUR
AT LANCASTER IN ERIE COUNTY THIS MORNING.

FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE NEST BROOK CREEK IN THE TOWN OF FLEMING
IN CAYUGA COUNTY. SANDBAGGING IS GOING ON THERE. ROAD FLOODING IS
REPORTED IN THE TOWN OF MORAVIA ALSO IN CAYUGA COUNTY.

FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING NEW YORK  COUNTIES...

UP TO TWO AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN FELL OVERNIGHT OVER PORTIONS OF OUR
REGION. THIS IS CAUSING SMALL STREAMS TO RISE AND THREATEN TO SPILL
THEIR BANKS. AN ADDITIONAL HALF TO AN INCH COULD FALL BEFORE MIDNIGHT.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED. TAKE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
