FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM CDT
    FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN
 
   ...CRAWFORD COUNTY
 
AT 1135 AM...CRAWFORD COUNTY REPORTS THAT THE KICKAPOO RIVER HAS
REACHED BANKFULL AT SOLDIERS GROVE. AS RESULT...A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING FOR CRAWFORD COUNTY HAS BEEN ISSUED...WITH THE BIGGEST
AREA OF CONCERN ALONG THE KICKAPOO RIVER.
 
RAIN WILL BE ENDING IN VERNON AND CRAWFORD COUNTIES BY 100 PM...
BUT RUNOFF WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE RAPID RISES ON CREEKS AND STREAMS.
PEOPLE ALONG THE KICKAPOO AT SOLDIERS GROVE...AND GAYS MILLS SHOULD
BE PREPARED TO QUICKLY MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
