THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST CLOUD MINNESOTA   HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

   ...EASTERN LAC QUI PARLE COUNTY

AT 7 40 PM CDT A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SIGHTED 2 MILES SOUTH OF DAWSON
MINNESOTA...50 MILE SOUTHWEST OF WILLMAR. THIS FUNNEL CLOUD WAS MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

PEOPLE IN THE TOWN OF DAWSON AND THE SURROUNDING RURAL AREA SHOULD
TAKE COVEER IMMEDIATELY.


THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
