THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      NORTHWEST LOGAN...THOMAS

AT 913 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN NORTHWEST
LOGAN COUNTY ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THEDFORD OR ABOUT 35
MILES NORTH OF NORTH PLATTE.  THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING
THE TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.  RESIDENTS
OF THEDFORD SHOULD TAKE COVER.  THIS WARNING CANCELS THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST MCPHERSON COUNTY.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IS IN
A BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
