THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF INDIANA
      WHITLEY

AT 1152 PM EST...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILES
NORTHWEST OF FORT WAYNE OR 15 MILES WEST OF COLUMBIA CITY.

THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

IT WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

PEOPLE IN THE AREA AROUND THE  SOUTH WHITLEY AND COLUMBIA CITY AREAS
SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.
DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS
PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADELY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
