THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF PENNSYLVANIA
      ERIE...CRAWFORD...ADJACENT LAKE ERIE WATERS

AT 1215 AM RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
ASHATABULA COUNTY IN OHIO SOUTHWESTWARD TO NEAR MANSFIELD OHIO.
THIS LINE IS MOVING EASTWARD AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

NUMEROUS REPORTS OF WIND DAMAGE...POWER OUTAGES AND LARGE HAIL
HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS LINE AS IT MOVED ACROSS NORTHERN OHIO.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEAOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.  MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND DANGEROUS LaIGHTNING.  PEAPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER.  STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
