THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 615 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING NEW YORK COUNTIES...

CATTARAUGUS AND SOUTHERN ERIE

AT 530PM BUFFALO RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OR TORNADOES
OVER NORTHERN CATTARAUGUS COUNTY AND EXTREME SOUTHERN ERIE COUNTY.
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 55 MILES AN HOUR.

BE ON THE ALERT FOR TORNADOES OR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT
LIGHTNING.. STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.  LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN
MAY ALSO CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES GO TO THE BASEMENT OR AN INTERIOR
