WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
CENTRAL WASHINGTON
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING TOWNS/CITIES
AKRON AND OTIS
AT 641 PM MDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 11 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
AKRON ...OR ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF STERLING. AT 636 PM MDT...STERLING
PATROL RELAYED A REPORT FROM A SHERIFF OF A FUNNEL CLOUD 18 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF AKRON. ALSO...PILOT REPORTS INDICATED FUNNEL CLOUDS IN
THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN FORT MORGAN AND AKRON.
THE STORM PRODUCING THE TORNADO WAS MOVING WAS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT
ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM.

UNDER A WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO
