HEAVY RAINS HAVE CONTINUED OVER PARTS OF SOUTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA THIS AFTERNOON. RAINFALL AMOUNTS SINCE 1 PM RANGE FROM 1.74
INCHES IN EUFALA TO 2.5 INCHES IN WILBURTON. MANY ROADS ARE NOW UNDER
WATER IN THESE AREAS...AND MOST CREEKS AND RIVERS ARE RISING QUICKLY.
WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS LIKELY TONIGHT...THIS FLOOD SITUATION
WILL BECOME WORSE. RESIDENTS IN THE WARNED COUNTIES SHOULD BEGIN
PREPARATIONS NOW TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF THEY LIVE IN A FLOOD
PRONE AREA.
