THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      NORTHWEST LINCOLN...NORTHERN RUSSELL

AT 907 PM CDT FLASH FLOODING  WAS REPORTED BY THE RUSSELL SHERIFF
SOUTHEAST OF LURAY IN NORTHEAST RUSSELL COUNTY.  OVER 4.5 INCHES
OF RAIN FELL IN ONE HOUR IN THE LURAY AREA.  THE SHERIFF REPORTED
SEVERAL ROADS FLOODED SOUTHEAST OF LURAY.  THESE FLOOD WATERS
WILL MOVE INTO THE LUCAS AND SYLVAN GROVE AREAS.

FLASH FLOODING WILL LIKELY RESULT FROM THE HEAVY RAIN THAT HAS
FALLEN OVER THE WARNED AREA.  STAY AWAY FROM AREAS SUSCEPTIBLE
TO FLOODING LIKE SMALL STREAMS..LOW LYING AREAS AND UNDERPASSES.
GO TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.

FLASH FLOODING HAS BEEN REMPORTED.  IF YOU LIVE NEAR FLOOD PRONE
AREAS GO IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND.
