THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
      DAVIE...IREDELL

AT 920 PM RADAR SHOWED  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHERN IREDELL
COUNTY AND ALSO OVER DAVIE COUNTY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST
AT 30 MPH.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
