THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BECKLEY WV HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA
          ...SOUTHERN GREENBRIER
 
AT 720 PM EDT THE STATE POLICE REPORTED A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN BRIEFLY
NEAR PICKAWAY ON HIGHWAY 219. THE TORNADO HAD GONE BACK INTO THE
CLOUDS BUT HAS TOUCHED DOWN ON AT LEAST TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE
STORM WAS MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR TOWARD WHITE
SULPHUR SPRINGS.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
 
 
DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY
