AT 655 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 8 MILES WEST OF
CREEDMOOR IN EXTREME SOUTHERN GRANVILLE COUNTY. THE ASSOCIATED
THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SIGHTED
NEAR ROUGEMOUNT IN NORTHERN DURHAM COUNTY BY OFF-DUTY POLICE OFFICER
AT ABOUT 645 PM.
