WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF COLORADO
      NORTH AND CENTRAL BACA...PROWERS

 THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TOWNS AND CITIES...LAMAR...
 GRANADA AND HOLLY IN PROWERS COUNTY. SPRINGFIELD...TWO BUTTES AND
 WALSH IN BACA COUNTY.

AT 605 PM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTH OF
LAMAR IN PROWERS COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS PRODUCING WINDS 50 TO 60
MPH AT LAMAR IN PROWERS COUNTY AND SPRINGFIELD...58 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF LA JUNTA...IN BACA COUNTY. HEAVY RAIN WAS ALSO REPORTED AT BOTH
LAMAR AND SPRINGFIELD. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST 20 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEA*DLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
