WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK
      BRONX...NEW YORK...KINGS...QUEENS...RICHMOND...NASSAU
   IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY
      BERGEN

RADAR IN NEW YORK CITY AS OF 915 PM EDT WAS FOLLOWING A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD INTO SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT
AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THESE STORMS WILL BE MOVING ACROSS LONG
ISLAND SOUND AND INTO SUFFOLK COUNTY DURING THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS.

SEVERE  THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MILES AN HOUR
...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

YOU ARE ADVISED TO MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS CAN FLOOD ROADWAYS QUICKLY AND
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS.

AVOID DRIVING INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD AS PUDDLES CAN BE
DEEP AND DANGEROUS.
