THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
...SOUTHERN HENNEPIN...NORTHERN SCOTT
AT 455 AM CDT..WEATHER RADAR WAS INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST
SOUTH OF WACONIA NEAR THE TOWN OF COLOGNE. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WAS ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS.
AT 445 AM THIS THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED 65 MPH WINDS IN THE ARLINGTON
AREA OF EASTERN SIBLEY COUNTY. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. SOME CITIES AND TOWN INCLUDED IN THE WARNING
ARE..JORDAN..SHAKOPEE..BLOOMINGTON AND MINNEAPOLIS.
