SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT

AT 945 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR OVER
EASTERN PIERCE COUNTY IN WESTERN WISCONSIN OR 40 MILES WEST OF EAU
CLAIRE.
 
THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR. LARGE HAIL
AND GUSTY WINDS TO 60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.
 
SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...DURAND...PLUM CITY AND
MENOMONIE.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
