FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
          ...DODGE...NORTHERN FILLMORE...SOUTHERN GOODHUE
          ...NORTHEASTERN MOWER...OLMSTED...WABASHA...WINONA
          ...RICE...
TORRENTIAL RAINS OF GENERALLY FROM 2 TO OVER 4 INCHES HAVE FALLEN OVER
SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA THIS MORNING. IN RICE COUNTY...5 INCHES FELL IN
THE CITY OF FARIBAULT...AND THERE WAS AN UNOFFICIAL REPORT OF 10 INCHES
OF RAIN IN RICE COUNTY.

TWO TO THREE FEET OF WATER WAS REPORTED OVER HIGHWAY 52 IN THE
ZUMBROTA...PINE ISLAND AREA WHICH IS NORTHWEST OF ROCHESTER.
WATER WAS REPORTED OVER NUMEROUS OTHER ROADS IN THE WARNING AREA.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.

CAMPERS AND OTHERS IN LOW AREAS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGH GROUND
IMM]EDIATELY. IF YOU CAN STAY HOME...DO SO...BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY WILL
BE UNABLE TO GET TO YOUR ANTICIPATED DESTINATION ANYWAY.
