THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF MINNESOTA
      NORTHERN FILLMORE...NORTHERN HOUSTON

SOME COMMUNITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING INCLUDE FILLMORE...PRESTON
...RUSHFORD...HOUSTON...LA CRESCENT.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND MOVE
SLOWLY ACROSS THE WARNING AREA.  RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF THREE
INCHES ARE LIKELY...CAUSING RAPID RISES ON AREA STREAMS AND STANDING
WATER IN URBAN AREAS AND LOW-LYING AREAS...INCLUDING ROADS.

WEATHER SERVICE RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW AN INCREASING AREA OF
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE MINNESOTA...IOWA BORDER SOUTH OF ALBERT LEA
TO NEAR FAIRMONT AND JACKSON.  HEAVY RAINS HAVE ALSO BEEN FALLING
IN PARTS OF MOWER COUNTY...PERSONS IN THIS AREA SHOULD BE ALERT TO
STANDING WATER AND POSSIBLE WARNING SHOULD THE HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER
TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER
BEGINS RISING.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY.
