PARTS OF MARTIN AND FARIBAULT COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING THESE RAINS REMAINED NEARLY
STATIONERY OVER THIS PART OF THE STATE AND BECAUSE OF THIS MORE HEAVY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS CAN BE EXPECTED TO FALL OVER ALREADY SATURATED
GROUND.
 
CAMPERS AND OTHERS IN LOW-LYING AREA ARE ADVISED TO MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND IMMEDIATELY. MOTORISTS SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO CROSS STANDING
WATER WITH THEIR VEHICLES AS SWIFT CURRENTS MAY CARRY THEM AS WELL AS
THEIR CARS AWAY
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
