TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA
 
   ...CENTRAL BREVARD COUNTY
 
 
AT 558 PM EDT GROUND REPORTS CONFIRMED A TORNADO IN THE TOWN OF CAPE
 CANAVERAL. AT THIS SAME RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
FROM JUST OFF SHORE OF THE KENNEDY SPACE CENTER TO NEAR COCOA BEACH.
THIS STORM WAS REPORTED HEADING SOUTH... PERSONS IN COCOA BEACH AND
SATELLITE BEACH AND THE PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE AREA TAKE COVER.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
