TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST TENNESSEE
 
   ...NORTHERN SHELBY COUNTY...SOUTHERN TIPTON COUNTY
 
AT 1005 PM A TORNADO WAS REPORTED OVER NORTHEAST CRITTENDEN COUNTY
ARKANSAS NEAR THE TOWN OF CLARKEDALE. THE TORNADO RETREATED BACK INTO
THE CLOUD BUT THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM REMAINS SEVERE AND WILL MOVE
INTO NORTH SHELBY AND SOUTH TIPTON COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST TENNESSEE
BETWEEN 1010 PM AND 1015PM THIS EVENING. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS
STORM ... TAKE PROTECTIVE ACTION IF YOU LIVE IN EITHER NORTH SHELBY OR
SOUTH TIPTON COUNTY.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
