SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE...
IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
...WESTCENTRAL AND CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTY...INCLUDING THE
CITY OF ROSWELL...
AT 435 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR
AND THE PUBLIC 20 TO 25 MILES WEST OF ROSWELL NEW MEXICO.
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS ABOUT 10 MILES IN DIAMETER AND IS
MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.
ONE LARGE FUNNEL CLOUD AND SEVERAL SMALL FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE
BEEN OBSERVED IN THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF THIS STORM SINCE
400 PM MDT.
