THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH INDIANA
          ...CLARK...CRAWFORD...FLOYD...HARRISON
 
AT 1140 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AND SURFACE REPORTS INDICATED
A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 30 MILES WEST OF LOUISVILLE
TO 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF LOUISVILLE PRODUCING TORNADOES.
 
SEPARATE TORNADOES WERE REPORTED IN MILLTOWN IN CRAWFORD COUNTY
INDIANA AS WELL AS HARRISON COUNTY INDIANA.
 
THE STORMS PRODUCING THE TORNADOES WILL MOVE THROUGH THE TOWNS OF
NEW ALBANY AND CHARLESTOWN BY 1205 AM EDT.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROHOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
