AT 853 PM THE TANGIPAHOA SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD NEAR
THE COMMUNITY OF AMITE. THE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR TANGIPAHOA PARISH
HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A TORNADO WARNING BASED ON THIS REPORT. THE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.
