THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  130 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
          ...SIMPSON...SMITH
 
AT 100 PM...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR MAGEE IN EASTERN SIMPSON
COUNTY NOW APPEARS TO HAVE A POSSIBLE TORNADO ASSOCIATED WITH IT. THUS
THE WARNING HAS NOW BEEN UPGRADED TO A TORNADO WARNING. THE STORM IS
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR...AND COULD BE
NEAR RALEIGH WITHIN 20 MINUTES.
 
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS IN AN
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  GET UNDER STURDY FURNITURE.
