FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

AT 735 PM CDT JONES COUNTY CIVIL DEFENSE REPORTS FLOODING ON STATE
HIGHWAY 537 FOUR MILES NORTH OF LAUREL AND SEVERAL STREETS IN LAUREL A
UNDER WATER.
 
MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS JONES COUNTY FROM THE
WEST FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.  THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
MORE RAIN TO THE FLOODED AREA.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
