THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF INDIANA
      GRANT...SOUTHERN HUNTINGTON

AT 246 PM EST THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINS WERE MOVING INTO
GRANT COUNTY OF NORTHEAST INDIANA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
NORTHEAST AND ACROSS ALREADY SATURATED GROUND. AS THESE THUNDERSTORM
S MOVE ACROSS GRANT AND INTO SOUTHERN HUNTINGTON COUNTIES RAINFALLS
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES COULD BE PRODUCED.

THESE VERY HEAVY RAINFALLS WILL PRODUCE FLOODING OF STREAMS AND
OF ROADWAYS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  TAKE NECESSARY
PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FLOODING IMMEDIATELY.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE.
RAPIDLY RISING WATER MAY SWEEP YOU AWAY.

DURING HEAVY RAINS...KEEP SMALL CHILDREN AWAY FROM OPEN STORM
DRAINS...WATER CATCHMENTS...STREAMS AND WATERWAYS.  SHALLOW...GENTLY
FLOWING WATER CAN BECOME A RAGING TORRENT IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.
