TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

AT 504 PM EST...STATE POLICE REPORTED A TORNADO TOUCHDOWN NEAR
MANILA...ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF INDIANAPOLIS ON THE RUSH SHELBY
COUNTY LINE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 50 MILES PER HOUR TOWARD THE
TOWNS OF RUSHVILLE AND CONNERSVILLE. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THE STORM
SHOULD MOVE INDOORS TO THE BOTTOM FLOOR AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
 
DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY
TOSSED AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF
A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.  IF NO
STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
