HEAVY RAIN NEAR BROOKSTON IN SOUTHERN WHITE COUNTY AND NEAR ASH GROVE
IN NORTHERN TIPPECANOE COUNTY...OR 5 TO 10 MILES NORTH OF LAFAYETTE.
 
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
CONTINUE TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL.
 
PEOPLE NEAR STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGH GROUND AT THE FIRST
SIGN ON HIGH WATER.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
