THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A URBAN AND SMALL 
STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN 
THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE STATE OF OHIO
      PREBLE

AT 1030 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SHOWED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
OVER NORTHWESTERN PREBLE COUNTY PRODUCING MODERATE RAINFALL.

NEW PARIS FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORTED STREET FLOODING IN DOWTOWN
NEW PARIS DUE TO RISING WATER ON THE WHITE WATER RIVER. THE
CONTINUING RAINFALL WILL CAUSE THE FLOODING PROBLEM TO CONTINUE
FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOOD WATERS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.a
