AND ADJOINING COASTAL WATERS BETWEEN EMERALD ISLE AND DRUM INLET
 
AT 923 AM THE CARTERET COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT REPORTED A
TORNADO AT NEWPORT WITH A TRAILER OVERTURNED AND TREES DOWN.
WEATHER RADAR SHOW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AREA THAT
WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
