IN MAINE ...OXFORD COUNTY...YORK COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AT 1120 PM A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE MOUNT WASHINGTON AREA SOUTH TO JUST EAST OF CONCORD NH AND WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT NEAR 55 MPH. THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS HAD A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WINDS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
