THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      SCOTT

AT 7 PM CDT..HIGHWAY PATROL REPORTED TORNADO ON THE GROUND
JUST WEST OF SCOTT CITY AND WEATHER RADAR AT GARDEN CITY
CONFIRMS HOOK ECHO IN AREA. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTH AT
15 MPH.

THIS TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND AND CAUSING DAMAGE. ALL PERSONS NEAR
THIS DANGEROUS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IN A REINFORCED
SHELTER.
