EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      EASTERN BUFFALO...WESTERN HALL...NORTHERN KEARNEY...

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      HOWARD...

AT 512 PM CST...RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM CENTRAL
HOWARD TO NORTHERN KEARNEY.  NUMEROUS TORNADOES HAVE BEEN REPORTED
FROM 10 MILES SOUTH OF KEARNEY...AROUND SHELTON...AND IN THE WOOD
RIVER AREAS.  THIS TORNADO WARNING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT
OR BELOW GROUND.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED
BUILDING.

PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY
TO SAVE YOUR LIVES.

IN ADDITION TO THE THREAT OF A TORNADO... LARGE HAIL... VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE LIKLEY WITH THIS STORM.
