SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  615 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA
 
   ...MURRAY COUNTY
 
AT 520 PM EDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE COUNTY
LINE JUST NORTHWEST OF CHATSWORTH. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS PART
OF A LINE OF STORMS...SOME OF WHICH HAVE BEEN PRODUCING DAMAGING
WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. AT 515 PM EDT WALKER COUNTY SHERIFF'S
OFFICE REPORTED TREES KNOCKED DOWN BY HIGH WINDS CAUSING
SOME POWER OUTAGES.
 
THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH AND SHOULD PASS
VERY NEAR CHATSWORTH.
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
