THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      PETTIS

AT 12 NOON...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN WESTERN PETTIS
COUNTY...15 MILES WEST OF SEDALIA AND MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.
IT WILL MOVE INTO THE CITY OF SEDALIA BY 1215PM.

TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT OR INTERIOR ROOM OR CLOSET ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  COVER YOUR HEAD.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  PERSONS IN MOBILE HOMES SHOULD TAKEa COVER
IN A NEARBY BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT AWAY FROM  FLYING
DEBRIS AND COVER YOUR HEAD.  IN A HOUSE...TAKE SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR
